It is mainly used in the production of azo dyes and sulphur dyes, and also used in the production of fur black D, fur blue black DB, fur brown NZ, and rubber aged preventive DNP, 288, DOP and DBP.P-phenylenediamine is also used as raw material for cosmetics hair dye ulsi D, gasoline retarder and developer.
