Isobornyl acrylate can be used to prepare block copolymers with n-butyl acrylate by atom transfer radical polymerization (ATRP)1. It is a photo-polymerizable monomer that is employed in micro-fluidic devices because of desirable properties, such as inertness, transparency, and resolution2.
Applications:
Isobornyl acrylate is utililized in paint resins, coatings, and reactive adhesives and sealants. It is also used to make photopolymer plates and photoresists, and is used in the process of radiation curling.
